
Conversation History
The conversation history feature allows you to view, manage, and analyze all interactions between users and your AAIA chatbot. This powerful tool helps you understand user needs, monitor chatbot performance, and improve your customer support.
Accessing Conversation History
To view conversation history:
- Navigate to Settings → Aaia XP in your WordPress admin
- Click on the Conversations tab
- You’ll see a list of all user conversations with the chatbot
Note: The Conversations tab is a premium feature. You need an active license to access conversation history.
Understanding the Conversation List
The conversation history displays:
- Date and Time: When each conversation took place
- User Information: IP address or user details if available
- Message Count: Number of messages in each conversation
- Actions: Options to view or delete conversations
Conversation Details
Click on any conversation to view:
- Complete message thread between user and chatbot
- Timestamps for each message
- User context and page information
- Tools or features used during the conversation
Managing Conversations
Viewing Conversations
- Click the “View” button next to any conversation
- Messages are displayed in chronological order
- User messages appear on one side, chatbot responses on the other
Deleting Conversations
- Click the “Delete” button next to any conversation
- Confirm the deletion when prompted
- Warning: Deleted conversations cannot be recovered
Bulk Actions
- Select multiple conversations using checkboxes
- Choose “Delete Selected” to remove multiple conversations at once
- Use filters to find specific conversations by date or content
Privacy Considerations
When managing conversation history:
- User Privacy: Be mindful of user privacy when reviewing conversations
- Data Retention: Consider implementing a data retention policy
- GDPR Compliance: If applicable, ensure compliance with data protection regulations
